Garages have a way of becoming the default storage spot for everything that doesn't have a home elsewhere in the house. When it's finally time to deal with it, a little sorting beforehand makes the actual cleanout faster and often cheaper, since you're only paying to haul away what actually needs to go.
Sort into four piles
- Keep — things you actually use, organized back onto shelves or bins.
- Donate — usable items in decent shape that someone else could use.
- Sell — anything worth listing, if you've got the time and patience for it.
- Haul away — broken, expired, or just plain done. This is the pile we take.
Common garage junk we haul
Old paint cans, broken lawn equipment, worn-out tires, dead appliances, scrap wood, busted shelving, and the mystery boxes nobody's opened in five years. If it's questionable whether something belongs in the haul-away pile, text us a photo and ask — we'll tell you straight whether we can take it.
A few things to know before we come out
- Hazardous materials like old paint, chemicals, or propane tanks sometimes need separate disposal — ask us ahead of time if you're not sure.
- You don't need to stack everything at the curb. We'll pull it straight from the garage.
- If you're only sorting part of the garage, that's fine — we can haul a partial load just as easily as a full one.
Once you've got your haul-away pile set, text us a few photos and we'll get you a price.
