A couch is one of those items that always ends up being more of a project than people expect — too big for most trash programs, too heavy to move solo, and awkward to fit in a regular vehicle even if you wanted to haul it yourself.
Is it still in good shape?
If your couch is clean and in decent condition, it's worth checking with local donation centers before hauling it out — furniture in good condition often finds a second home rather than a landfill. Torn, stained, or broken-down couches usually aren't accepted by donation centers, and that's where a pickup service makes more sense.
What makes couch removal harder than it looks
- Doorways and stairwells — a couch that went in easy during a move doesn't always come back out that way.
- Weight — a sectional or sleeper sofa can be genuinely heavy, especially with two people trying to maneuver it alone.
- Disposal — most curbside trash pickup either won't take large furniture at all or requires a special bulk pickup appointment.
How same-day pickup works
Text a photo of the couch to (727) 628-0293, and we'll text back a price. If it works for you, we come out, carry it out ourselves — stairs, tight hallways, whatever it takes — and haul it away. No need to drag it to the curb yourself first.
Got junk to get rid of?
Text a few photos and we'll send back a straight price — usually the same day.
